On June 20, the training expanded to include all employees in a company-wide Basic Firefighting and Evacuation Drill. This hands-on simulation enabled staff to practice real-time responses to fire incidents and evacuation protocols. BMT Asia was honored to receive support from the IEAT Bangpoo Industrial Estate Office, which provided a fire engine and technical assistance to enhance the realism of the drill.
Mr. Peerapong Sangdit, QSHE Manager at BMT Asia, shared his perspective:
“At BMT Asia, the health and safety of our employees come first. This program ensures that work-related risks are minimized. In the oil and gas industry, emergencies pose serious dangers, requiring prompt and well-prepared responses. This training is essential – it equips our employees to handle high-risk situations, use the necessary equipment, and protect themselves and others”
This annual training also highlights BMT Asia’s broader dedication to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The company has deeply invested in safeguarding not only its employees but also its neighboring communities and the natural environment. By ensuring all personnel are well-prepared to manage emergencies, BMT Asia continues to uphold the highest standards of industrial safety and corporate responsibility.
