BMT Help Together 2024: BMT Asia’s Relief Efforts for Flood-Affected Communities in Ayutthaya

On October 12, 2024, Dr. Saravuth Rattanachongkiat, Managing Director of BMT Asia Co., Ltd., delivered carloads of survival kits to residents in Samko Sub-District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, to help them rebuild their lives after the flooding.

Since early September, northern Thailand has been grappling with a devastating flash flood crisis. A weather depression over the region has triggered heavy rainstorms, resulting in destructive flooding that has imposed significant hardships on households and led to extensive damage to both public and private property across many areas. The impact of the flooding spread to central provinces in October, including Samko Sub-District in Ayutthaya.

In response, BMT Asia has actively engaged in corporate social responsibility initiatives to support those affected by natural disasters. This time, we extend our heartfelt wishes through ‘BMT Help Together 2024’, a disaster relief initiative dedicated to assisting individuals impacted by flooding.

BMT Asia staff have generously contributed their time and effort to assemble survival packages filled with essential supplies, including food, drinking water, medical supplies, hygiene kits, and other necessities, which have been delivered to those in need in Samko Sub-District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya.

In line with our motto, “We safeguard health for all life on the planet,” we focus not only on the environment, but also on social and governance. BMT Asia stands in solidarity with all those affected by the flooding, aiming to alleviate their hardships and collectively overcome this crisis.
