On May 8-9, 2024, Dr. Saravuth Rattanachongkiat, Managing Director of BMT Asia Co., Ltd., together with BMT Asia staff warmly welcomed the Project Delivery and Technology (PD&T) Division team of the Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) from Malaysia, who paid an official visit to BMT Asia in Bangpoo Industrial Estate, Samut Prakarn, Thailand, for a discussion on mercury waste management.

PETRONAS is a Malaysian multinational petrochemical firm with over 50 years of experience in upstream oil and gas exploration and production and downstream gas operations. On this occasion, PETRONAS participated in the BMT’s Technology and Operational Excellence workshops and shared mutual information on Thailand-Malaysia mercury waste management, including related regulations and policies. Furthermore, both parties addressed the potential for future collaboration on mercury waste management.

BMT has been a great partner for the oil and gas industry for over 30 years. Our long track record demonstrates that we have always provided the best practices in mercury-contaminated waste treatment and have operated a safe and environmentally friendly recycling business.
