Safety remains one of BMT’s top priorities – during COVID-19, even more so. The BMT COVID 19 Management updates take into consideration changing requirements.

As BMT operates in different countries around the world, we therefore carefully follow each specific government’s guidance around managing COVID-19. As a global organisation, the management teams from the different areas meet on a regular set basis to  agree the overall COVID-19 management process and to work through any issues arising.

We take every precaution at all of our sites to ensure the safety of our employees and our clients.

  1. From the outset, all non-essential staff were requested to work from home. Where practical, essential staff were put on different rosters to minimise the impact of cross-infection in order to ensure the safety of all staff. No visitors had been allowed at site. Contractors were limited to essential contractors only.
  2. Although hygiene is part and parcel of our operations, we increased our focus on hygiene, increased frequency of cleaning, providing extra hand sanitiser, providing individual cleaning cloths etc.
  3. Furthermore, we implemented social distancing measures.

We have been fortunate on both a local and global level not to have any COVID19 infections.

Therefore, this means that BMT continues to offer a wide range of mercury and NORM treatment and management services to our clients and continue to provide an essential service to our clients.

We provide maximum flexibility in maintaining our production capacity at a high level.

Even in times of COVID19, BMT is your global leader of mercury and NORM waste management.
