Songkhla, Thailand – March 28, 2025 – BMT Asia Co., Ltd. has reinforced its commitment to safety and environmental standards through its annual QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment) training program, conducted in partnership with key logistics and warehouse operators in Songkhla Province.

Led by Mr. Suksan Pentanyakan, SHE Supervisor, and Ms. Kanthira Namwong, Environmental Senior Officer, the BMT Asia team conducted a series of on-site inspections and emergency response drills with Amarit and Associates Logistics Co., Ltd., a hazardous waste transit warehouse operator, and Sakthong Transport Ltd. Part., a logistics partner.

The training session at Amarit Yard included a site inspection in preparation for the renewal of the Permit for Possession of Hazardous Substances (Wor Aor 8) and a hands-on emergency response drill simulating hazardous material incidents. The team then proceeded to Sakthong Yard, where they conducted basic firefighting training and a transportation-related emergency response exercise.

A highlight of this year’s program was the emphasis on real-time waste tracking systems, designed to enhance situational awareness and ensure swift, compliant action in the event of an incident during hazardous waste transport.
